Clinical Supervisor (Full-time/35 hours/week, exempt)
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Supervises: Mental Health Clinicians and Interns
POSITION SUMMARY:
Brookview is seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual with a demonstrated commitment to racial
and social justice to fill the position of Clinical Supervisor. The Clinical Supervisor ensures that participants (residential and community-based) receive the highest quality of clinical services; provides supervision and training to clinical services staff, interns and volunteers. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in the fields of mental health, child welfare, child development, or other related fields. Strong working knowledge of psychodynamics, group work, casework, health systems, and human and child development. Experience working with domestic violence and an understanding of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and trauma-informed care are preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Provides consistent supervision to direct reports and interns.
● Provides clinical oversight of cases and ensures services are provided as specified in participant goals.
● Provides crisis management/clinical interventions.
● Develops and maintains linkages with service providers.
● Provide direct services including advocacy, clinical assessments, and counseling.
● Participates in case conferences, multidisciplinary, and various other meetings as needed to ensure
quality care.
● Makes counseling-related referrals and serves as liaison to mental health agencies as needed.
● Conducts performance reviews of supervisees.
● Conducts chart audits to ensure compliance with documentation standards and completed in a timely
fashion.
● Provides program information, data, and support for grant applications and reports.
● Attends staff meetings, trainings, and conferences.
● Supports writing of policies and practices

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s Degree and LMHC licensure required with three years of related experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Must be familiar with the impact of homelessness, substance abuse, and domestic violence issues.
• Must have experience working with and advocating for low-income families.
• Demonstrated group facilitation skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and part of a team.
• Must demonstrate a proficiency in advocacy and mediation.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Proficient in MS Office and ability to become proficient in other software programs including database software.
• Must be able to work some evenings.

Job Description
Title: Housing Specialist
Reports to: Housing Services Manager
SUMMARY
Provide housing advocacy for all participants through a trauma-informed approach. Assist with thehousing search and application process. Make referrals to appropriate agencies and programs.
Provide educational programs to program participants. Work collaboratively with facility staff toensure the facilities are well maintained and meet all applicable standards, regulations and laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
• Assist participants with applications to housing agencies and housing programs.
• Provide housing search (monitor, tracking, follow up).
• Assist participants in addressing housing barriers
• Maintain accurate and updated individual case files
• Establish linkages and act as liaison to housing agencies and programs.
• Develop and facilitate housing related workshops with participants.
• Educate participants on eligibility, housing availability, local and state fair housing laws, financial literacy, Credit/CORI.
• Assist participants in permanent housing with landlord tenant issues and mediation.
• Submit annual reports to Boston Housing Authority (BHA) and other housing agencies and funders (FHLB, etc.).
• Data tracking, reporting and analysis of outcome measures.
• Interface with and coordinate services with involved service providers (internal and external).
• Prep for and present updates at weekly Case Conference meetings.
• Assist with management for Brookview facilities including conducting unit inspections, coordinating preventative, routine and emergency maintenance needs (within the approved budget), conducting inventory and other duties as assigned.
• Provide stabilization services to participants living in other Brookview housing programs.
• Participate in 24 hour on-call system.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates with a minimum of three years relevant experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• Must be familiar with the impact of homelessness, substance abuse, and domestic violence issues.
• Proficient with HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) required
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Adobe, Google documents, and fillable housing applications
• Experience working with and advocating for low-income families in housing court and other systems when needed.

• Demonstrated experience creating and delivering presentations
• Good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Description
Title: Domestic Violence Specialist
Reports to: Director of Community Based Programs
SUMMARY
The Domestic Violence Specialist is on site at various locations providing crisis intervention, advocacy, information and referrals to residents of the City of Boston with special concentration in the neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. Locations typically include local courts, health centers and community centers, as well as the agency’s main office and its residential programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide crisis intervention, danger assessment, safety planning, emotional support and advocacy for residents living in the City of Boston
• At local district courts in Boston, provides advocacy and assistance for survivors of domestic violence seeking restraining orders.
• At local community-based health centers, provides culturally competent, trauma-informed services
• At all sites in the community, provides referrals to comprehensive supportive services at Brookview House and at other human service/social service agencies as appropriate. May accompany survivors to meetings and appointments.
• Develops, promotes and facilitates support groups at locations in the community.
• Provides individual counseling, possibly in other languages using translators as needed.
• Maintains a comprehensive list of referrals and relationships with community groups, organizations, advocates, and government agencies to facilitate advocacy and referrals.
• Maintains current and accurate records of services, updating database information and preparing periodic reports as needed.
• Participates in case conferences and agency meetings as needed.
• Represents the agency at meetings with community collaborators and at other events as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Assistant Director of Youth Services
(Full-time/35 hours/week, exempt)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Brookview is seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual with demonstrated commitment to racial
and social justice to fill the position of Assistant Director of Youth Services. This position assists in the dayto-day operation of youth development programs; takes the assistant role in program planning and
development alongside the Director of Youth Services. Works with program staff to ensure effectivedelivery of services. This position reports to the Director of Youth Services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with youth development programs consistent with Brookview’s mission and philosophy.
• Ensure the collection of data.
• Responsible for the supervision, training and development of youth program staff and volunteers.
• Participate in case conferences, multidisciplinary, and various other meetings as needed to ensure quality services.
• Create a workplace environment that fosters staff growth, development, and overall wellbeing.
• Ensure effective communication processes between program staff, families, school systems and all other involved service providers and funders.
• Ensure program curricula meets the educational and behavioral needs of the youth and ensure implementation of approved curricula.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships and/or collaborations with Boston Public Schools and all other relevant agencies (i.e. DCF, DYS) and service providers.
• Participate in budget development and ensure program operates within Board approved budget.
• Analyze and prepare data in a timely manner for reports and reporting purposes.
• Participate in program evaluations and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure program meets all applicable regulations and laws.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience working in a youth serving organization, commitment to and passion for youth experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Must be familiar with Boston Public Schools and Department of Early Education and Care (EEC)
including guidelines and regulations, as well as community resources.
